Special Event Update-Corsair History Presentation and B-25 Flight Opportunity

October 23, 2021

“Whistling Death” a Presentation on the F3A Corsair
and
B-25 Flight Demonstration with Two Museum Guests Flying Along

Saturday, October 23 at 9:00am

The flight demonstration of the museum’s F3-A Corsair planned for Saturday, October 23 has been cancelled due to mechanical issues. However, the history presentation on Corsair in World War II will go ahead as scheduled beginning at 9am, with doors opening at 8am. The history presentation will include a walk-around and engine start-up of the museum’s F3-A Corsair.

After the Corsair demonstration, two lucky museum guests will have an opportunity to take a flight in the B-25 Mitchell bomber “In the Mood”. The two museum guests will be chosen at random from those who attend the history presentation.

There is no additional charge for the history presentation or possible flight opportunity in the B-25. Just purchase a daily ticket to the museum and arrive early to get a good seat for the presentation and sign up for a chance to fly on the B-25.

This is a rare opportunity, so we encourage guests to purchase tickets in advance. Tickets can be purchased at https://www.worldwariiaviation.org/ For more information, call the museum front desk at 719 637-7559.
