Outside Photo Day

July 4 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

On Sunday July 4th, the National Museum of World War II Aviation will host a special event for photographers and videographers.  Several of the museum’s World War II aircraft and vehicles will be staged outside on the ramp throughout the day for photographs and video.  Weather permitting, the B-25 Mitchell bomber and the P-47 Thunderbolt will be flown in celebration of the 4th of July and the pilots will be available after the flight for photographs.

The aircraft and vehicles will be staged outside on the museum main ramp during normal operating hours—10am to 4pm.  Flight times for the B-25 and P-47 will be subject to weather.

COMING EVENTS

The National Museum of WWII Aviation will be closed all day on Wednesday, November 10th and the morning of Thursday, November 11th for a private event. The museum will be open to the public beginning at 1:00pm on Thursday.

The National Museum of World War II Aviation
will close at 1pm on Friday, December 3
for a private event.

The National Museum of World War II Aviation
will close at 3pm on Sunday, December 12
for a private event.

The National Museum will be closed all day on
Thursday, November 25 for Thanksgiving,
Saturday, December 25 for Christmas, and
Saturday, January 1 for New Years
