Get Involved Become a Volunteer
Volunteers are essential to the on-going success of the National Museum of World War II Aviation. Last year alone, volunteers worked more than 26,000 hours in support of museum operations, restoration work and education programs. We are always looking for talented, dedicated people to join the team and help us make the museum and its education effort a success. Volunteers under 18 years of age, must always be accompanied by a parent or guardian while working in the Museum. The parent or guardian will also need to submit an application and will undergo a background check. Howerver, this requirement can be waived by the superving lead at the time of interview.
Volunteer opportunities become available at various times throughout the year. Service areas include front desk, library, restoration and maintenance shop, docent services, and education. Volunteers are asked to dedicate a minimum of 10 hours a month to the museum.
Come join the team and be a part of something special. Sign up today and your application will be considered as openings become available.
